Note on Visas
In accordance with Swiss Law, it is necessary for most students holding passports outside of the European Union, for example China, Russia, Japan, Vietnam and New Zealand, to get a Student Entry Visa to start studies in Switzerland. Please note that a tourist visa is not acceptable. The visa application process may take time. For more information, please contact the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs of Switzerland.
