Maev has a degree in Journalism from Rhodes University in South Africa where she was born and raised. She has written for and edited various print publications and has lived in Australia, Canada, Ireland, the UK and, since 2011, Switzerland. She has settled in Versegères with her husband and three children. Maev brings her passion and experience to her VIS role in Communications and is also responsible for some of the administration.  Maev is a part-time swimming instructor and continues to write in her spare time. She also loves reading, the dramatic arts, trail running, biking and other adventures in nature.
