An Education Built Around the Individual
At Verbier International School, students follow the International Baccalaureate continuum from the age of 3 through to 18: the Primary Years Programme, the Middle Years Programme, and then a choice between the IB Diploma Programme and our High School Diploma Programme.
What holds that journey together is how small we are. With average class sizes of around 12, teaching here is genuinely personalised. Teachers know each student’s strengths, interests and aspirations, and adapt their lessons accordingly. Nobody slips through unnoticed.
Where we are matters too. Primary students spend every Friday in the forests around Verbier through our Forest School programme. Secondary students take the Alps as their classroom through the Mountain Leadership Programme. Our phone-free school day keeps them present for all of it.
We are also an accredited High Performance Learning school, which means we begin from the belief that exceptional progress is available to every child, not only to a naturally gifted few.
