Shoshana Doherty BA (Hons)
Boarding House Parent, Secondary English and RS Teacher
Shoshana was raised in Villars-Sur-Ollon in Switzerland and educated at Aiglon College following which she studied English Literature at the University of Exeter. She continued her career in education at Le Régent International School in Crans Montana where she worked as a Deputy House Parent in the senior girls house. Following this period, Shoshana lived in south-east Asia, where she worked as an English and SEN teacher for an independent education company in Singapore. Shoshana returned to Switzerland in 2023 taking up the role of Deputy House Parent at Copperfield International School before coming to VIS. As a boarding parent, Shoshana understands the important role that a nurturing, fun and supportive boarding house environment plays in the development of each student.
In her spare time, Shoshana takes full advantage of all that the environment offers: she loves hiking, paddle boarding and skiing. She is also a keen traveller, an enthusiastic musician and an avid reader.
