Lorcan is half-Irish, half-English and grew up in London before moving to Geneva at the age of eight. This move brought him into a diverse and multicultural school environment as he took a place at the International School of Geneva where he developed a passion for education. After completing his International Baccalaureate, Lorcan went on to study History at the University of Edinburgh. During his time in Scotland, he enjoyed various internships in various professional fields as well as as providing private tutoring. 

Lorcan identifies strongly with the VIS mission of bringing adventure into the classroom . When not working, Lorcan loves to read, climb, go to gym, ski and work on his personal podcast which he co-hosts.
