Ana grew up in Mexico City. She has a master’s degree in Educational Technologies and Instructional Design, a PGCE from the University of Buckingham and a BSc in Communications specialising in advertising. Before becoming a teacher she worked in different advertising companies and took the summers off to work in summer camps in Canada. She has been an English teacher, digital literacy coach, and ICT teacher in different international schools. Her experiences teaching abroad drove Ana to learn new innovative and creative ways of teaching and learning. After completing her Master’s, she started working as an instructional designer for a South African company. She designs online courses on integrating technology and 21st-century skills into teaching and learning. Ana has returned to Verbier after 14 years with her family to teach Class CW for the winter term. 

In her spare time, she likes to hike, travel, read, learn new things, exercise and being with her family.
