Becky Seeley BSc (Hons), MSc, PGCiE
Primary and Secondary School Science teacher
Becky Graduated in Zoology from Bristol University and spent a year working for the team developing the “we the curious” science centre before undertaking her MSc in Applied Ecology and Conservation. She worked jointly with Bristol University and the Open University creating science outreach content for BBC Natural History series before moving to the Marine Biological Association, an independent research institute. There she worked on supporting the implementation of the marine framework strategy (developing a network of marine protected areas for the UK), UK marine data strategy, and the marine element of non-native species reporting and monitoring. Becky joined VIS in 2019 as a science teacher and has since completed her PGCiE at the University of Bath.
Becky is a BSAC scuba diving and snorkelling instructor and a paragliding club coach. She is a keen paraglider, runner, climber, surfer, freediver, and caver, and is working on improving her biking, skiing, French and Spanish.
