Last Thursday night saw Le Rouge, Verbier, host the incredible VIS Winter Charity Gala. it was cold outside but Philippe and Lena, the amazing hosts and owners of Le Rouge, ensured the party warmed up and the parents and staff were all on sparkling form. Shannon Fidyk was an inspirational auctioneer. She managed to coax close to CHF 35000 out of our parents and staff on items such as a week in Marrakech, signed Faction skis and a bedtime story from our very own Julia Pickard. The auction proceeds will go to the Annapurna Association which improves the position of underprivileged children in Pokhara, Nepal. It was a fantastic evening and all enjoyed the dinner and late night dancing. Thanks must go to Lena and Philippe, Julia Pickard and the PTA for organising the event and to all the incredibly generous donors of the different auction prizes.
