Structure, Independence and Balance
Life in boarding follows a clear rhythm that helps students balance academic commitments, activities, friendships, rest, and personal time.
The day begins with breakfast before students make their way to school. Classes run throughout the day, followed by co-curricular activities or a return to the boarding chalet.
After school, students have time to relax, socialise, or take part in activities before dinner. Evening study provides a focused period for homework, revision, and independent learning. Younger students benefit from supervised study with residential staff available to provide guidance and support.
Dinner is an important part of boarding life. Students come together as a community, share their day, and enjoy time away from screens. Phones are not used during meals, encouraging conversation and genuine social interaction.
After study, students have time to relax, play games, spend time with friends, or prepare for the following day before age-appropriate bedtimes.
The routine gives students structure while gradually encouraging them to manage their own time, responsibilities, and priorities.
