Joining VIS

Choosing a school is one of the most important decisions a family makes. Our role is to make it an informed one, and an unhurried one.

Verbier International School welcomes day and boarding students aged 3 to 18 — families already settled in Verbier and the surrounding region, and families arriving from all over the world. Whether you are considering a place for the coming academic year, exploring our Winter Term programme, or simply beginning to find out more, our Admissions Team is here to help.

We are a small school, and our admissions process reflects that. From your first enquiry you will be speaking to people who know the school, know the families in it, and will take the time to understand your child before anything else.

How the Process Works

Enquire

Your enquiry is an opportunity for us to get to know one another. A member of our Admissions Team will be in touch to talk through your child’s needs and aspirations, share information about our programmes and boarding options, and answer any questions you have.

Visit

We would be delighted to welcome you to VIS in person. There is no better way to understand a school than to walk through it while it is busy, which is why we encourage visits during term time. If distance makes that difficult, we are just as happy to meet you online.

Apply

The application itself is straightforward, and the steps can be completed in any order: application form, interview (online or during your visit), motivation letter, reference form, school reports from the last two years, a copy of your child’s passport, and the application fee.
