Our Skill Labs connect students with professionals, businesses, and real-world environments, giving them opportunities to explore areas that would rarely form part of a traditional school curriculum.
Through our Watch Lab, students discover one of Switzerland’s most celebrated industries. Working with experts from OMEGA, they explore not only the technical world of watchmaking, but also craftsmanship, branding, customer experience, heritage, and what it takes to build a global legacy. Experiences can extend beyond the classroom through visits to the company’s museum and manufacturing environment.
Through our collaboration with 17G Coffee, students can explore the journey behind running a coffee business. From developing barista skills to understanding marketing, customer service, entrepreneurship, and community impact, students experience the different elements required to turn an idea into a successful business.
Our alpine location creates further opportunities. Students can work towards recognised ski instructor qualifications, transforming a passion for skiing into a professional skill and qualification.
These are just some examples of the experiences that can form part of our evolving Skill Labs programme.
Beyond learning something new, these experiences help students discover potential interests and career pathways, strengthen university applications, and develop confidence through meaningful real-world experience.
Students may not know what will inspire their future until they have had the opportunity to try it.
Our role is to give them that opportunity.
